THE TRUTH BEHIND WHY INDIA PLAYS CRICKET WITH PAKISTAN
PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF CONFLICT, IT IS THE ABILITY TO HANDLE CONFLICT BY PEACEFUL MEANS – FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, RONALD REAGAN
Countries with bilateral ties affected by tensions often
make attempts to normalize relations by encouraging people-to-people ties
through films, music, poetry, bilateral and multilateral political engagements
and last but not least, Sports.
Known as one of the greatest rivalries in the World, India
and Pakistan have tried the above means to normalize relations too. The most
talked about engagement between India and Pakistan is Cricket.
Every India-Pakistan Cricket Match is viewed as a battle by
people all over the world, although it is fought without rifles, hand grenades,
rocket launchers, tankers and other arms and ammunition used widely in a
battle. Be it the cricket stadium, or television sets, the atmosphere remains tense
till the result at the end.
India and Pakistan have been playing cricket since 1952, and
there have been times when cricket relations have been abandoned due to
tensions between the two test-playing nations.
Whether a fan of India-Pakistan Cricket or not, everybody
wonders why the two nations do or do not play cricket together.
A more relevant question is if it is wise for India to play
cricket with Pakistan.
The truth behind this has its roots in the History of the
Underworld in Mumbai, Karachi and Dubai.
Ever since the Mumbai Underworld came into existence, it
intimidated the Elites of India, particularly those who lived in Mumbai and
extorted money from them.
When the Elites came to terms with the reality that they had
to co-exist with the Underworld, the relations graduated from one-sided love
for Mumbai Elites' money by The Mumbai Underworld to the Elites' dependence on
The Mumbai Underworld to stash their black money to Swiss Banks and Banks of
Other Tax Havens - A One-Sided Crush becoming Two-Sided Full Fledged Love
Story.
The money travelled through Mumbai, Karachi and Dubai ports
to finally make its way to the Tax Havens of Europe.
The time that passed became witness to sophistication in
Technology, the growth of Electronic Media along with the birth of social media
promoting a rise in awareness among people, the Government with one ideology
succeeding the government of the other ideology, and all of this delivered
changing narratives in public discourse as the end-result.
The India after 2014 is different. Whether rich or super
rich, you cannot make black money today.
Sending it to Tax Havens is next to impossible.
The Current Government is making India a favorable
destination for investments and is perceived as business-friendly.
The Indian Elites (particularly of Mumbai) do not maintain
the same relations with the Underworld now as they did before 2014.
The Underworld, who helped park the Elites' money abroad
before 2014, are now powerless, but the former still carries a lot of secrets
of the elites.
Today, under the pressure of the Elites, BCCI has to ensure
that India plays against Pakistan in Multilateral Cricket tournaments.
The current leaders, as they want to maintain India's image
before the world, cannot afford to get the Mumbai Elites to earn a bad name, or
else no Foreign Company would like to work with them, which may end up
puncturing India's ambition to become an Economic Giant like China.
They have ensured that the gloom of the past does not affect
the present, but they cannot travel back to the past to correct the same.
Previous Governments did not work with malafide intentions
either, but they lacked the zero tolerance for corruption that the Current
Government has.
But the story does not end here.
What about us? Can we, the people, do anything about this?
The answer is yes. We, the People of India, can boycott
India-Pakistan Cricket. My readers would be wondering why?
The truth is that any Multilateral Tournament Match that
India plays against Pakistan generates money for both. The BCCI and PCB earn
money.
While BCCI uses it's share of money for the betterment of
Indian Cricket, PCB sends it's share of money to the Pakistani Government run
by the Coalition of Terror Groups like Jamaat-Ud-Dawa, Harqat-Ul-Mujahideen,
Lashkar-E-Tayeba, Haqqani Network, Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan, and many more
Terror Groups ruling over the Pakistani Parties liken PTI, PMLN, PPP and the
whole of Pakistani population.
The money given to Pakistan, whether by India-Pakistan
Cricket Matches, India-Pakistan Cultural Exchanges other than Cricket, Foreign
Aide, etc., is funneled to the Coalition mentioned above and used to kill Indians
using Terrorist Attacks as a medium.
The terror attacks on Indians have reduced drastically due
to the valor of the Indian Security Forces. This is something no Indian can
disagree with.
But any Indian should not forget that thousands of Security
Personnel have sacrificed their lives for us.
If an average Indian checks the Newspaper Archives, they
would come across the news of the mutilation of Indian Security Personnel at
the hands of Pakistani Forces.
Any Indian watching the India-Pakistan Match would
unknowingly be insulting the sacrifices of our Security Personnel.
Indians watching
India-Pakistan Cricket would also be an insult to the Indian Security Personnel
protecting India at the border.
If we are so much in love with those who want to kill us,
then why do we send our security forces to the border to protect us in inhuman
conditions?
Our brave soldiers face Temperatures above 50°C to
Temperatures below -60°C.
They do not protect us for salary but for their love for the
Motherland.
Had they wanted money, they could have become Politicians
like those who live in India but defend Pakistan.
When we watch India-Pakistan Cricket we also insult our
brave soldiers who are alive and face inhuman conditions for us.
We also insult our civilian brothers and sisters who died in
terrorist attacks so far.
My fellow Indians, make no mistake, the Coalition of
Pakistani Terror Groups are preparing to attack us every hour, minute and
second of the day.
Our Brave Security Personnel are the only reason terror
attacks cannot kill us.
We should learn to respect our armed forces, our motherland, and keep our self-respect above our hunger for a few hours of entertainment.
